From handover dust to move-in ready, usually in 48 hours
The contractor leaves at six on Friday evening. Your family is supposed to sleep there on Sunday night. That is the gap our specialist post-renovation team is built to close.
A two- or three-pass system, not a single scrub
Post-reno dust is everywhere. Inside your aircon coils. Settled into the underside of every shelf. Stuck to wall paint that has not fully cured. So we work in passes — bulk debris first, deep surface clean second, finishing detail third — with the right tools at each stage.
- Pass 1: bulk debris, plaster, masking tape, packaging — removed and sorted
- Pass 2: HEPA vacuum of every surface, including ceiling, walls, skirting and aircon coils
- Pass 3: tile haze removal, grout sealing check, glass & mirror polish, sanitiser fog
- Switches, sockets, doorknobs and bathroom hardware cleaned and tested
- Built-in cabinetry: interior wipe, dust extraction, scratch report on items found damaged
- Aircon vent & filter dust extraction (we can arrange full chemical wash via partner)
- Final walkthrough with you and a photo report for your records
What changes when the developer hands over a new condo
Handover dust is different to renovation dust. There is less paint splatter, but more cement haze on tiles and grease on stainless steel fixtures. We adjust the SOP accordingly and keep an extra crew member on the kitchen and bathroom zones.
Frequently asked — post-renovation
How soon after handover can you start?
Most jobs we start within 24 to 48 hours of the contractor’s clearance. For tight deadlines we have done Saturday handover, Sunday clean, Monday move-in — provided the booking is locked in at least a week ahead.
Do you remove construction waste?
We sort, bag and consolidate waste on-site, then arrange disposal through a licensed contractor (charged at cost, usually RM 150–350 depending on volume). Bulky tile off-cuts and metal scrap go to recycling partners.
Will the team know how to treat my floor type?
Yes. The post-reno crew is trained on five surface families: porcelain, natural stone, engineered wood, vinyl plank and unsealed cement. We bring pH-appropriate cleaners for each and avoid steam where it could lift the surface.
Can we use the property the same day after cleaning?
Yes. We finish with an antimicrobial mist and ensure all surfaces are dry before sign-off. Move-in furniture can be brought in the same evening.
